Bill Fisse spent over 40 years at Citi as an HR Executive specializing in recruiting, leadership development and diversity/equity/inclusion strategies and compliance - his dream career. He helped people, teams and organizations as they navigated corporate culture, the hiring process, job expectations, career transitions and much more, gaining key insight into what breeds success in the initial stages of someone's career.

His keen understanding of the early professional landscape, talent acquisition process and what it takes to ensure you are fulfilled and fully actualizing your potential and dreams in whatever career path you choose are translated into the rich offerings at Early Career Executive Coaching (ECEC).

Still with his finger on the pulse of the ever-changing business world, Bill continues to provide consulting at the corporate level, maintaining deep ties to Citi, his Alma Mater the University of Miami and other organizations. He also serves on the Foundation Board of The Borough of Manhattan Community College and the President's Council at the University of Miami.

Bill's Career Highlights

Former CHRO of Citi's Global Wealth Management

From 2020 until his retirement, Bill was a Managing Director in Citi’s newly-formed Global Wealth Management Organization. In this global role, he advised the Business Head and Leadership Team on all Human Capital disciplines for one of company's most significant growth businesses.

Senior HR Officer

He joined the Citi Institutional Clients Group in July 2009 as the Senior Human Resources Officer for Citi’s Transaction Services (CTS) Business, the leading provider of Cash Management, Treasury and Trade Services and Securities Fund Services in over 100 countries around the world. Prior to this, Bill spent nine years as the Senior HR Officer for Citi’s credit card division – Citi Cards, followed by an assignment in Citi Holdings Consumer.

Former Lead of Citi's ICG Talent & DEI Strategies Worldwide

He was responsible for heading Citi’s Institutional Clients Group's (ICG) Talent and Diversity/Equity/Inclusion strategies worldwide. The role centered on building and developing a robust pipeline of future leaders, including direct management of the annual Talent Succession Planning process, presented to the Board.

International Experience

Bill spent two years in London, England as Division HR Director for Citi’s Consumer Businesses in Central/Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before going abroad, he managed HR for a number of Citi’s North America Consumer Businesses.

Knows What Companies Are Looking for, Because He Made the Guidelines

Bill spent 3 years co-leading an initiative focused on defining and implementing a standardized, international, company-wide strategy for attracting, developing, engaging and retaining top university-sourced talent, establishing Citi as an “employer of choice” for early career professionals.

He holds a BBA in Business Management and an MBA in Finance from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
